Mission Statement: "Mentoring youth
and rewarding scholarships to young
outdoorsmen exhibiting academic
excellence is our task for preserving
the outdoor traditions."
Dated 1/8/2012

Archery has been traced back 50,000 years ago and it has managed to
travel through many countries and cultures for thousands of years.
Volumes have been and can be written about archery. From Egypt,
China, Japan, Europe, India, Africa, North and South America and
every country in between archery has been apart of world history.
Today, archery has taken on many forms from Olympic events,
3D-events, local programs for kids & adults to hunting wild game.
With all archers there is a common bond, which is their love for
archery and trying their best to hit an object the size of an egg or
orange at 20, 30, 40 or even 70+ yards! To hit an object at 70 or
even 20 yards is not easy, but if you can consistently hit the
"X-Ring", it's like a good plan coming together every time! Being
good in archery is no accident and it takes practice. Archery can be
a rewarding activity for kids and and the entire family.
Archery teaches patience, concentration, mind-body control and
studies show archery definitely help kids in school.

The yardage was not disclosed to make things interesting. The picture below shows how the target looked before the shot. The picture below shows the egg shot off the PVC tube. On the first shot Greg hit the egg...seeing is believing. The egg was at 67 yards!
